In the app
- Open the app and tap the gear at the top of “Today” (Settings).
- At the bottom, choose “Delete account” and confirm.
What is deleted
- your account, your first name and your photo
- if you are the last adult in the household: the whole household with all tasks, areas, photos and the shopping list
- the data on your device, your reminders and the list in Apple Reminders
What remains
- If others live in the household, they keep their tasks. Your past entries in the history stay without an account.
- Plus purchases are handled by Apple or Google. Cancel a running subscription there, deleting your account does not end it.
- Photos nobody uses anymore are removed by the server within 31 days.
Without the app
Email hello@homeduo.app with the subject “Delete account”. Since the app works without an email address, please tell us which account you mean, for example your household name and first name. We delete within one month and confirm it to you.
